So Stand

You are mine
You are many things to many people, but first of all, you are mine
I know you and made you
I understand your infirmities but more importantly your strength
I am with you in the valley but also in battle
Do not measure yourself with the measuring stick of others
Do not judge yourself with standards foreign to you
Do not walk in the shadow of someone else’s pursuits
For My Light and Life does not reach you there
Walk out boldly
Be ready to walk alone
That is where you’ll know my glory and power
My light brings warmth and vision
So walk boldly
Trust Me for the things you can’t yet see
For that is the path to your destiny
Be ready to walk at night, in the rain, even through the storms
I never leave you
I never forsake you
When you look closely you will always see My light and know you are safe
When you look around and see you are alone, do not fear
Alone is a good place to be with Me
Alone is where I love to talk to you
Where I show you mysteries and help you understand your path
Alone is also where you are vulnerable and frail
I know that
Without knowing your weakness you’ll never know My strength
Without feeling the darkness you’ll never really enjoy the light
Without fighting fear you’ll never see how free you are
Without the night you’ll never enjoy the fresh promises in a new day
Be strong.
You, my child, be strong
Stand your ground with grace and poise
You have been given land and it’s yours, so stand
Open your eyes, dare to look, and see the army of your victory
They will fight for you before you can draw a sword
The battle is Mine
You are Mine

Beautiful truth. Last part brought an image of Joan of Ark heading into battle to memory. 💕
